The formation of WORMDRIVE began late in 2001-2002 with the musical stylings of Jayson Doyle and Nate Castonguay. After their long term run with thier long time Techno group NIMH they finally decided to return to their roots, Metal/Hard rock/ thrash. After dusting off the guitars and deciding to go the electronic drummer route, Nate and Jay had a few new songs under thier belt and decided it was time to find a vocalist. After a few auditions with horrific outcomes they finally caught a break and found Otto Kinzel(Black Eye Susan) who remained the vocalist for WORMDRIVE for the remainder of their career 2004. With the lyrical stylings of James Hettfield, Mike Patton, and a little bit of Henry Rollins Otto was the perfect fit for the style of music we were going for. Now 7 years later the band is getting back together for a reunion track and a possible album/ tour. Hopefully things work out and you'll be seeing more of WORMDRIVE In your local area.
