WHO AM I?
My name as I am sure you have figured out already is David D. Smith. I am from the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. Currently in school and working. I use to design photos, mixtape covers, myspace layouts and everything web. That is what i really felt i wanted to do as a career. But, after designing for a few years i started to not enjoy it anymore. During the time period that i was designing I started making music. When i first started making music I grew really frustrated with it. But, I NEVER gave up on it. Making music would be the thing I would do when I was not designing. After a while I stopped designing because i found more enjoyment in making music. Ever since then i have been making music all the time. I have been making music for about 4 years now. I really believe that this is my passion and what i want to do for the rest of my life.
Instead of being called by my name, I developed the idea to just use my initals. To me my initials worked well when it came to identifying myself. I use to go by KINGDDS825 (XBOX Live) & D.Smith. Currently, i go by simply DDS or DDS825. I prefer to simply be called DDS. But, I have developed the concept of what D.D.S. really means. I am a really positive thinking person, and i know that with GOD there is nothing that i can't do. So iI tend not to worry about things. The concept I came up with is Dont Die Sad. Now some people may not be able to think deep enough to understand it. So I am going to break it down for everyone. Nobody knows what day, time, second, or how they are going to die. So why go through your life worried and sad when you can be doing things that will make you happy. Is it worth worrying about something that will not matter when you leave this earth? Why don't we just focus on making ourselves happy? Yes I know we all have our bad days. But, when I am feeling down, I go find something to do that is going to make me feel better. For me that is where making music comes in. But, DDS is bigger than just me. I am trying to promote positivity. If you live to make sure that when it's your time to go you lived a happy life and did what you want, YOU ARE DDS. Dont Die Sad.
