Tillers Prospect combines reggae, rock, hip/hop, funk, and jazz to produce a unique style. Paul and Steve started playing in a basement together as teenagers in 2008; they named their fledgling band after the street names they grew up on. Greg joined the band in 2009 and added his funky, jazz-sounding bass to the guitar and drum. The now trio, honed their sound through the years experimenting with different sounds and styles, and occasionally picking up an extra guitarist. Only in 2014 did Andy officially join the group and add his own style and sound to the mix.
The band has gained notoriety and a following around Old Ellicott City as a "local favorite." Tiller's Prospect has played and continues to play at venues such as Judge's Bench, The Wine Bin, La Palapas, White Oak Tavern, Sonoma's Bar and Grille, Second Chance Saloon, The 8 X 10, and Nick's Fish House. In the past, Tiller's has played at Ram's Head Live, The Recher Theater, Stan and Joes, and several other scenes.
Tiller's is always looking to broaden their musical horizons and with singer/songwriter, Paul, composing new material and working on ideas with the group, Tiller's Prospect continues to produce an unrivaled musical sound.
