In the late-90’s, Darryl “Cuz” Anguay produced a local band called Brotherhood, who found success with hits such as “Be My Girl," "Share My World," and “Send a Message.” Their popularity led them to open for such national acts as Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block. When Brotherhood disbanded, some of the members joined some of the guys from The New Generation (TNG) to form Faceless and then Brownskin. Faceless and Brownskin opened for K-Ci & Jojo, Christina Aguilera, and Ginuwine, and also worked with local artists Fiji, “Princess” Ilona Irvine, and Jamin “Chief Ragga” Wong.
Fast forward to 2013, brothers Michael and Richie Pelen from the original Brotherhood have reunited the group, and they are currently in the studio and hitting the stage. Joining them is accomplished singer/songwriter Dino Robley, who just penned the recently released tribute to mother's that are now in heaven ( Mama's Lullaby).Dino is a former original member of a popular 80's Dance troup in Hawaii called The SILVER LOCKERS, opening up for such legendary acts as Marvin Gaye-Lakeside-Shalamar-GQ and the Manhattans! Combining writing styles with Mike and Richie makes songwriting fun and exciting again says Dino.Over the years, the members have matured and grown through the ups and downs of life, which enhances their songwriting and vocal performance, but what remains the same is Brotherhood’s foundation of tender ballads, sweet harmonies, and electrifying dance numbers. Their latest CD consists of original compositions produced ENTIRELY by group members and a few great friends! they are extremely excited on what the future holds!! by working with accomplished producer's like Thomson Enos of Typical Hawaiians and CEO of TH Productions Inc. and Elan Markos,Fantastic Producer and CEO of MERC MUSIC Inc.in Las Vegas the sky's the limit!!
