Music was never my thing until I was 19 years old. Of course I grew up singing a little here and a little there. Being the son of a choir director, you pretty much have to grow up singing a little bit! After my first year of college, I was literally drug into the music ministry against my will by my brother Zach and friend Eric. God turned my heart around and back to him very shortly later to develop a passion for this ministry thru music. That same summer being the accident prone kid I was, I blew out my knee leaving me confined to the house for the next 3 months. Until then I had never picked up a guitar and started writing my own songs. This time being crippled allowed God to give me the strength to continue on with the ministry where it is today. For many years I was a part of a band called "In His Name." My brother and I spent a few years traveling and released a full length album called "Time Will Tell." We played several shows in those years, worked hand in hand with several ministries, received some local radio play,, and opened for national recording acts Warren Barfield and Fighting Instinct. We were accustomed to playing for crowds of anywhere from 3 - 3000. None bigger than the opporunity God opened for us to play in front of 3,000 Virginia Tech Students at there Relay for Life held a year after the deadly shootings. In April of 2012, I launched my first solo album called "Alive." Since then I have spent my time touring on weekends doing concerts, leading worship at camps/conferences, and promoting the album. The new album was spot lighted on local radio station WBFJ 89.3. In the fall of 2012 I was fortunate to be selected as a finalist for a vocal talent competition called "Exalt." There I was able to colloborate and work along side Gabriel Bello who charted #1 on the Billboard smooth jazz charts for 11 weeks. I currently am still working to promote "Alive" and excited to release my second solo project "That Voice" Feb 4th, 2014. I currently serve as a worship leader at Life Impact Church as well as offer my ministry to other churchs and events. I pray to God for direction as the ministry continues. Where is goes? hopefully only further as I tap deeper into God's will. If you would be interested in having me for an event, please contact me at BrandonKelleyMusic@gmail.com. If you haven't had a chance to listen or buy the new album. Search for it on itunes, amazon, and cdbaby.com. Thank you for your support!
