Voodoo Highway developed very organically out of a love of jamming and quality song writing. David Miller and Sean Leary came together as part of a back-up band that formed to help out songwriters with live shows. The venture was short lived but Sean and David formed a bond and continued. After several versions of the band played around Oregon under names including Bad Influence and DSP the band came to full view once Patrick Smith and Nathan Wegner joined the fold. Finally landing on the name Voodoo Highway 2011 will see much growth and live shows. Voodoo Highway plan to record at The Recording Spot in Bend by late summer.
