Founded in 1997, Deafening Silence went through the years while keeping the flame alive, elaborating a style of metal that evolved along with the influences of its members. After nearly fifteen years of existence, some line up changes, three demos and two albums (Edge of life, 2003, and Backlash, 2007), the band is back in 2011 with a new embodiment consisting in Nico (vocals), Guiome( guitar), Phil (bass) and Tom (drums), and a brand new concept album. An album of extremes one may say, for the band pushed back the boundaries of its music, from reaching more agressive territories on the verge of thrash metal to proposing its first ballad ever as a glimpse of a more emotional side, while being faithful to its heavy speed metal roots. As soon as the recording is over, Deafening Silence will be back on stage.
