My first recorded album was an acoustic 2 disc album in 2004 using just the basic Windows Sound Recorder program and a cheap vocal mic plugged into the computer microphone jack with an adapter. That album may no longer exist unless someone else has one. In 2008, I moved the same computer into my instrument room, put Cakewalk Music Creator on it, and recorded The Self-Titled Title, May It Be Inspired, This All Goes Against You, and The Probation E.P.. They were all pretty low quality sound. At the end of 2008, I acquired a Mac, MobilePre USB interface, and an AKG studio microphone, and the first high-quality album (also two-disc), Something Bad or Something Else, was released using GarageBand. In August of 2011, Conceptionally Correct? was released after a three year period of starting albums without finishing others. A Rough Cut of Ambiance was released another year later, Christmas Day of 2012. Five more albums are lined up to be finished and it shouldn't take another year for the next one (The Perennial Cauldron). Songs from upcoming albums are available to hear at https://soundcloud.com/another-branded-lawrence. I pride myself in doing all of this by myself, but it's honestly my friends and family who have really inspired me to keep loving what I do with music. Thank you very much for all of your support, it means more to me than you know.
