Mid 1981: Conceived.
1982: Born with fully mature head.
1986: Moved from California (Don't Hate) to Gaston, Oregon, population 620, all by myself. Yes, I was aged four years.
1996 - 2000: Got my first guitar, worked tons of odd jobs, joined a band, played some gigs, listened to old country music and The Beatles. Observed females and pondered the possibility of speaking to them. Voted most likely to barely graduate High School. I did not disappoint.
2001: First real job as a Firefighter. It ruled.
2004: Quit first real job for second real job in the U.S. Army. Spent the next year wondering if I had made the first biggest mistake of my life. I hadn't. It was mostly awesome.
Late 2004 - Late 2009: Army shenanigans and LOTS of time in and around Nashville. Training, Wars, Irresponsible drinking...in that order. Playing more music, writing more songs and experiencing many wild things.
2009: Left the Army. More odd jobs. Seemed silly. Started pursuing music full-time. Wrote and played like crazy.
Early 2011: Started production on Honey Badger. (See Blog, it actually takes time to explain the studio experience.)
Late 2011: Honey Badger hits iTunes. Patted self on back.
Present: Riding wave of uber-stardom, mostly supported by my Mom.
Now you know about me. Please buy the album and see me play live so I can eat this month.
Little known fact: We recorded "Honey Badger" in the center of an active volcano. Fantastic acoustics.
