The Kenny Brother's Band is jam rock band from the "backwoods of Stratham, NH. The three brothers have been evolving and perfecting their sound for more than five years. Billy received a rental guitar for Christmas at the age of 13, and has refused to put it down since. Now, almost 10 years later, Billy holds a Music Composition degree from Bates College. some of his latest influences include John Scofield, Eric Krasno, Wes Montgomery and Jim Hall.
Taylor, the middle brother, took three drum lessons in the fourth grade, and then received a used drum set from his cousin. With the new set, his passion for drumming grew, and soon after, he wa anointed the band's drummer. Taylor studies environmental engineering at UNH but he still finds the time to keep the beat. Taylor's influences are Steve Jordan, ?uestlove, and Chris Dave.
"Little" Joey keeps it all together on the bass with his fat bass lines and smooth grooves. Joey started as the youngest brother who liked hanging around his big brothers while they were playing in the garage. After sitting in on countless jam sessions, he picked up the groove. When the band needed a bass player, "Little" Joey stepped in.
The Kenny Brothers Band concists of three ordinary brothers that started to jam in their garage when they were growing up. They've incorporated all sorts of sounds including John Scofieldesk lines and Allman Brothers' grooves. Their grooved base music is very tight, yet has a genuine flow and ease, which makes it fascinating to hear and feel. Their music incorporates jazz, funk, and the jam band mentality to form an organic sound that is their own.
