THN is not a hip hop group. We don't necessarily live the culture. We do rap tho.
And we are damn good at it! Real, because we were born and raised in one of the realest neighborhoods, and seen what life has to offer at its worst. *Dayton St. Projects* In Newark NJ.
(Uknown to some, Well known by many). We used to say that when you got to DSP, you were at the end of th earth. And once you got there, you will not make it out the same.
None did! Drugs, guns, stolen cars, you name it! We witnessed it! Which is one of the main reasons that we feel no need to express that reality through our music. Been there and done that. And you've already heard it, over and over. Yet through the graces of God Himself. We made it out. Survivors.. The whole hood of Dayton St. representatives feel the same way.
As we grew, music was always a big part of our lives. From old school club music. To slow jams like, The Whispers, Stylelistics, Blue Majic ect. Jazz, Funk.. James Brown,
BB King. We watched Soul Train faithfully.
And stayed up till the wee hours in the night to catch Video Music box. (Those were-
the days).
But when we started out rapping we had no indentity. Still don't more than a decade later. Just realness, with a mean twist of skillz, truth, and originality. A blessed group of family members. Not a made up crew.
So in a THN song your getting four family members, who discussed a round table topic, and gave their honest thought of it. To us,-

Thas easy. We did that all day in the hood.
The question is, about what?! And does it have a point? If not! To us, its just creative banter. So we vowed to be true, real, honest, and original. From the base to the vocal. We expect to be new. We know YOU,
have never heard anything like us before. And
