The hip hop music genre has a new, inspiring, young talent known in the booth and up on stage as Dangerous Joker Joe. Better known by his friends and family as Joseph Torres, he surprises all of them when he grabs the mic and shows them what he does best. Everybody listens to their own genre of music, D.J.J has respect and listens to all genres. But the genre he has the most respect for and listens to the most is hip hop. D.J.J finds everything in hip hop interesting, the history, the culture, and so on. Coming from the hills of Auburn, California, there is no other town that D.J.J would love to represent other than the incredible area of the 5-3-0.
Dangerous Joker Joe has performed countless times in may different areas. First he started off small, performing at open mics at the Auburn Placer County Library. Then after a decent amount of performances were accomplished with those open mics, he started moving up to perform at bigger events ad bigger venues. These events include; The Celebrate Outloud Festival, a few benefit shows, Open Mic Mondays, The Gold Country Fair, countless fundraisers, a huge performance at the Vans Warped Tour, The Hip Hop Awareness Festival, and more. He's performed in the areas of Sacramento, San Francisco, and all over Auburn. In venues such as the Aubrun Fairgrounds, Sol Collective, the AT&T Center Parking Lot (Warped Tour), and more.
Dangerous Joker Joe is different from the big named hip hop artists. His music is full of conscious thoughts, heartfelt lyrics, and moving poetry. D.J.J has only one main goal in mind, and that is to bring back conscious hip hop. Conscious hip hop is what saved Dangerous Joker Joe's life and changed his whole outlook on life in a positive way completely. That's what Dangerous Joker Joe aims to do with his music, and he has extreme confidence that he can make it happen.
Dangerous Joker Joe is a growing and inspiring artist, and he continues to grow, inspire, and change peoples lifes every day. D.J.J has been doing a lot of inspiring things as of late. Including going to churches and schools to speak about his experience and views on bullying. And also traveling down to the Boys & Girls Club to educate the kids about how important writing is. Dangerous Joker Joe is currently working on a lot of projects to keep himself busy. D.J.J is currently working with hip hop artist O.V.A on a mixtape titled "Under-Xposed". Also, at the same time, D.J.J is also working on two other mixtapes! His solo mixtape project titled "Feeling Lost", which is done being written, and the beats to his his other solo mixtape titled "Hometown Hero" have all been found and now the songs are in the process of being written. Aside all of that, Dangerous Joker Joe has finally made his music video debut with his hit single "Where Do I Go Now?" which can be found on YouTube.
