Steve Boyd is a rock n roll mutant, accidentally created in the 1970's by a Gov't music experiment conducted at Sandoz Labs during the Nixon administration
Steve Boyd is a singer/songwriter and musician, originally from Salt Lake City, now based in Southern California. A veteran of the Milwaukee Metalfest Concert Series, the former Tempered Steel frontman has opened for such notable acts as Testament, DRI, Mayhem, Otep, Flotsam and Jetsam, Holocaust, SOD, Venom, Wildside, Doro Pesch and King Diamond just to name a few. Steve's most recent projects include the all-original band "Shadowlife", with a full-length CD due for release soon, as well as fronting the Dream Theater tribute "Train of Thought", endorsed as the official Dream Theater tribute band by no less than Mike Portnoy himself! And, of course, there is plenty more where that came from in the form of a solo project that has been in the works for several years, "cheekily" entitled "The Flatulence Experiment", with the second disk slated to follow called "Flatulence 2: The Asshole Monologues".
