Bill McConnell and The Steel Horse Gypsies / Bio

Born in Montreal Que. Canada, Bill McConnell developed his family inherited talent as a singer/songwriter from his Grandparents, Ray and Betty Gauthier. Bill started out playing school dances and winning talent contests through out Southern Ontario, Canada before traveling North America and cruising both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, entertaining audiences, leaving then wanting more, while perfecting his craft as a singer/song writer.
Based out of Country Music USA, Nashville Tenn. and Gordon Lightfoot”s hometown Orillia Ont. Canada. Bill's debut CD “THE STEELHORSE GYPSIES” has five of ten penned songs by him and the likes of Mark Petersen, famous for writing hits for, Tim McGraw, Sammy Kershaw and many others. Bill even gives a "Powerful" Rendition of Don Henley's "Last Worthless Evening" to this cd. Bill played and produced his Debut CD with Canadian musician/producer Brian Gagnon from Toronto Canada. This soon to be released CD contains the single "We"re All About That" and songs that are Southern Rock with a cross section of Country, Pop, Rhythm and Blues!!
