Junk Punk. The best punk band you have ever heard.* When Dead Yeller comes, Dead Yeller comes hard... This band came into existence as a three-piece after Joey and Chris's lovechild, Dehora, disintegrated. In the same few days, Billy had split from The Smashmanics.
Later on, after playing one show as Code V, the band changed their name. At the suggestion of Billy's dad, the name Dead Yeller was chosen. Guitarist Mike Schwartz was also added to the line up. Billy and Mike had played together in a few projects previously; not to mention, Mike has been around the punk rock scene playing in Justified Cause with members of Strung Out and Pulley. Mike was also the main man behind JDKz; serving as singer, guitarist.
After a few short months, Mike Schwartz left the band. Feeling, that he was not the best fit for the band and that he was not able to contribute as much as he would like, Mike stepped down and joined old school punk band, Fatal Error, for their 2011 reformation. Dead Yeller emerged as a more focused and centered band.
Free B and C Glory had been jamming years before in other punk bands. This band stems from their very first band, Self Serv, and had always been pushed off for other endeavors such as The Smashmanics, Justified Cause, Dehora, JDKz, Skag, NFE, Minor Concussion, The Douches, Oxpecker, Raped in the Face, Secret 77 and others; but Free B and C Glory continued writing and rewriting songs throughout that time.
Some got faster, some slowed down, but none of them ever die.
