Dave Karaban / Bio

Dave Karaban is a singer/songwriter from King of Prussia, PA, a suburb 20 minutes west of Philadelphia. He started out playing bass guitar in his first original band Still Motion which played extensively around Philadelphia and the Main Line area. After that project ended, he teamed-up with brother, Jason Karaban, to form Drag Strip Courage, performing at clubs in Philly such as Grape Street Pub, North Star Bar, and JC Dobbs. It was during this time that Bruce Warren, WXPN, became interested in the band and promoted some of their songs, such as "For a Minute or Two" and "This Ain't Happening" with airplay on his show. Following this project, was Grand, the last of his band projects before he decided to go out on his own and play solo acoustic shows. He did an ep called "Not a Care in the World" which got favorable reviews. He currently has a forthcoming ep that is expected to be released in the spring.
