Modern life is a minefield of incremental compromise, and we all learn to live with it. But sometimes you just have to draw the line.

The Truck Farmers play Hardcore Hillbilly music, twangy and true. We aim to keep alive the sounds and songs that made country music great.

Our repertoire includes classic country songs, as well as original numbers by singer Charles Walston, who started the Vidalias in Atlanta and the Bourbon Dynasty in the DC area. Those bands released three records that received a good bit of radio play and nice reviews.

The Truck Farmers are all veterans of many musical projects, and along the way we have all learned an important truth about country music: It wasn't broke, so quit trying to fix it!
