Sotiris was always interested in music and electronics, and the first time he saw, heard and touched a real synthesizer he was speechless (with his mouth open). It was one of his life-changing experiences.
Many years later, his love for the "electronic" sound of the synth still stays strong and vibrant and playing music using his beloved synths is his main way of relaxing and expressing himself.
Favorites: Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Giorgio Moroder, Yanni, Gary Numan, Space, Vince Clarke, Depeche Mode, Tangerine Dream, Manos Hatzidakis, Mimis Plessas, Stamatis Spanoudakis, Kostas Tournas and traditional music from all over the world.
Most of his creations could be labeled as melodic, electronic, rhythmic, new age, ambient, space or even celtic sometimes.
He was playing/recording music for a long time, contributed to various electroacoustic academic research and multimedia projects, teached audiovisual/multimedia classes at technical institutes, even worked as a sound designer and synth/MIDI consultant for a local music store/distributor, but only lately (2010) he started showing his creations through the internet.
