The Caravan Club are a 6 piece band based in Edinburgh and fast becoming one of Edinburgh's must see bands. This band has been going from strength to strength - adding to their unique sound with sexy violin, and lashings of Toms, trumpets, keys and many other special ingredients. An innovative and exciting blend of old meets new, folk vs indie rock, their sound is as current as it gets, whilst giving a nod to all those tradition elements that has fans young and old enjoying every song.

Starting in small venues, they became quick favourites in hot demand at band showcases throughout Edinburgh. Winning the Edinburgh Idols Tour 2012 in February the band won the recording and release of an EP due out later this year. They are to be entered into the competition with the potential to win the UK Idols Tour 2012 later this year.

The band are now in hot demand playing across Scotland including some of largest of venues in Edinburgh with bands such as the Holy Ghosts, Merrylees, Gold Lions, Modern Faces and William Douglas and Wheel at venues such as The Voodoo Rooms, Bongo Club, Studio 24 and Electric Circus. They have recently played at both the Leith and Kelburn Festivals (June 2012) and will be taking to the road shortly with over an album worth of soon-to-be hits.
