Bad Voodoo were formed in late 2009 originally as a sideline project by Leeroy Crane (guitarist, producer), Rab Meharg (vocalist, bassist) & Gaffer McNabb (drums, percussion) but because of the chemistry between the members it swiftly became a serious band & the dominating musical force in their lives. They began writing and rehearsing and in February of 2011 the band released their first single ‘Repeat Offender’ which was recorded in their own studio and mastered at the world famous Abbey Road Studios by Steve Rooke. The band has continued to work with Steve Rooke as they write and record their debut album which will be produced by guitarist Leeroy Crane and released later this year. Bad Voodoo plan to follow up the release of their album with a tour.
All three members of Bad Voodoo have been involved in the music business for over twenty years, preforming gigs in the UK, Europe and the United States. They have also worked in areas of the industry as diverse as recording engineering, DJing, lighting rig assembly and front of house sound.
Over the last two decades Bad Voodoo members have had several recording credits to their name. In 2004 Leeroy Crane and Rab Meharg recorded and released the album ‘Gimmie Some Truth’ under the name ‘The Graffiti Junction’. Leeroy Crane has also recorded with and produced ‘Bring It EP’ with ‘Last Known Addiction’ and the album ‘Songs About Everything’ with ‘Rainbow Corner’ as well as having worked with several other artists as a recording engineer. Gaffer Mc Nabb has recorded three EP’s with the band ‘Fat Buddha’ and has also recorded with solo artist ‘Mark Graham’.
