Born and raised in Philadelphia, Phoebe Carter kept her dreams of songwriting a secret since the time she was 10 years old, when she wrote her first parody song, until she was 30 and debuted her original music at her own birthday party. The second child of a singer/songwriter who dedicated her life to raising five children rather than pursue a career in music, Phoebe is now working on her own music and producing the songs her mother wrote over 40 years ago to share with the world. Despite her older sister being the singer of the family and her younger brother being the comedian, she finally decided she wasn't meant to be the family lawyer and jumped into comedy and music herself.
Phoebe has written and recorded comedy and pop music that has been played on radio stations across the country and been performed live by other artists. She's done stand-up comedy and audience warm-up and entertained thousands as an online host. While juggling a corporate career that took her all over the world, she has recently completed her first full-length pop album and produced and directed her second comedy music video. Look out for a couple new video projects in the coming weeks and check out her music here or on iTunes, amazon, CDBaby, or anywhere else digital music can be found!
