They Might Be Zombies ("TMBZ") is a metalcore band hailing from Miami , Florida formed in 2011 . The Members of the band include Ewar Acosta (Vocals) , Jose Lega (Drums) , Ekber Jan (Bass) and Jesus Reyes "Smiley Dead Jay" (Guitars) . The seasoned members of TMBZ have successfully made their presence known and continue to top Reverbnation charts as number one local band. "Initial State of Death " consistently takes first place nationwide on Ourstage , while "Ant Collector" is consistently voted the most popular metal song on iTunes , Jango and XBox Music.

The band's "A dying voice" won them 2013's best metal song award at the Independent Music Awards (IMA's), while the video keeps raising views on YouTube .

They Might Be Zombies recorded a 6 song EP at Bieler Bros Records in Pompano Beach , FL produced by Matt Laplant (Nonpoint, Skindred, Sikth), which led the band to the production of their first Official Album "RE-ANIMATE" (2014-2015).They have also released 3 Music Videos "Fragments", "Ant Collector" and "A Dying Voice" Filmed and Produced By Ewar Acosta . Among the list of their other accomplishments TMBZ members have shared stage in sold out arenas with the likes of such established bands as Testament ,October Rage, Endo and Abiotic.
