Joshua Yarbrough is a true-to-the-blues vocal powerhouse local to Tulsa, OK. His love for music was instilled at birth, as he was born to a family of primarily country musicians. He began singing along with Garth Brooks CD's and eventually found his calling in the blues. Joshua's musical style has been influenced by artists like Freddie King, Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, and The Allman Brothers and his song writing has been heavily influenced by the creative tones of Tom Waits and John Hiatt. Mr.Yarbrough's experience includes leading bands like the Joshua Yarbrough Band, The Five Dollar Sugar, and the Boogie Rhythm Boys to name a few. In 2012 Joshua lead the Five Dollar Sugar to a victory at the Oklahoma City Blues Challenge and the band represented Oklahoma at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis the following January. His first album with the Five Dollar Sugar was awarded the Best Self Produced Album title by the Tulsa Blues Society also in 2012.
