Phicus bases their music on life experiences, continuously experimenting with new sounds and combinations of music. From love gone bad, to dissatisfaction with today's society and on to more humorous themes, Phicus' music is an emotional roller coaster ride destined to capture your attention.
The music of Phicus is based on a solid, innovative and dependable rhythm section. Drummer Paul Garcia delivers the driving basis for the music while Eric Sustaita rounds out the low end on bass with energetic and infectious grooves. Singer Drew Normington's creative combination of the direct vocal and lyrical style of U2 with the unpredictable and effect-driven vocals of Jane's Addiction compliments the immediate and haunting, yet heart-felt guitar sound of David Johnston. Together they breakdown the term genre by offering what its all about, creating great music by incorporating all genres.
