Patrick O'Grady, a native Detroiter, is an outstanding guitar player. He has been at it for more than four decades. His primary influences are Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins of Blue Suede Shoes fame, Keith Richards, and Henry Vestine of Canned Heat. Styles most often enjoyed are Rockabilly, Blues, Psychodelic, and do-wop. Growing up in Detroit, He has always had a [passion for the Motown Sound. He even indulges in the ocassional country twang of Hank Williams and Snow. Patrick is a Us Navy Veteran.
Kathy Kramer, CSBM's Bassist, started playing only three short years ago. This is her first band. She lists as her influences; Bad Company, Boston, Styx, Led Zep, and Foreigner. On the flip side of the coin, Kathy enjoys listening to Michael Jackson, Luther VanDross, Meriah Carey, and Whitney Houston. Kathy has always been a music lover from as far back as she can remember. She comes from a musically gifted family and enjoys the challenge of playing with the two seasoned musicians who comprise the band.
Deb Kuhn is the founding member of Capital Street Basement Musicians. Responsible for bookings, recording studio work, promotions, and song arrangements, Deb is a life-long musician (playing drums & guitar), & is also a songwriter with a hunger for true civility and social awareness in connection to global impact. The anchor for Deb's music has been expressed thru a real love of collaboration involving jam sessions/creative construction of original compositions. Music levels the playing field & causes the participants to honestly pay attention to how they interact without agression or confrontation...just some basic skills and an openness to the atmosphere of music is all you get...perfect harmony! Deb's biggest influence - Led Zeppelin!
