The Voodoo Boys Trio is a blues group based out of Monterey California that plays mostly old school covers along with a few originals. Creating excitement with wild lead solos backed by a solid rhythm section is the name of their game. With members from local heavy metal and punk rock acts Pride Subject and Hate For State, the group claims that "the project is intended for us to expand our horizons from our usual extreme styles to a mellow one, and express our musicianship to a broader audience." Tim adds, "It is a good means to play new clubs which wouldn't normally allow our other bands as well as get our foot into the door of the blues scene of Monterey."
