Tru-Blues / Bio

Tru-Blue is a contemporary, rockin’ blues band that covers material by Etta James,
BB King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Joss Stone, and many, many more. Truly a labor
of love, the group was formed over ten years ago by guitarist Dana Trueman when
he met Blaise Morimando, who happened to be trying out guitars in a music store.
They got together, played a bit and have been working on Tru-Blue ever since!
Tru-Blue also features the amazing singer-songwriter Lou Lou White. Although Lou
Lou hails from Paris, France, she can belt out a blues tune like she was born in
Chicago, or maybe Memphis; or even the Mississippi Delta! (Check out Lou Lou’s CD’s on iTunes.) Tim Whited on drums and Larry Walter on bass round out the rhythm section of the band. Tru-Blue can frequently be seen at the House of Blues and at various other clubs and events throughout the Las Vegas valley.
