Letters from the Dead was formed in 2010 by Bob Simpson and Jim Lopeman. They formed in order to play the type of music they like while putting their own spin on it. They are quoted as saying "Love us or Hate us, We're not going anywhere any time soon!" They are disappointed in the direction of music nowadays. They want to ignite a feeling like that from the 90's Grunge movement.
