Chicago native, Aramie is a singer-songwriter and overall entity. With the ability to dance and choreograph, as well as act, Aramie is a one-man machine. Many people claim to be triple-threats, but Aramie epitomizes the phrase and even holds on to many more silent "threats".
Aramie combines a smooth, sultry tone with a hint of rasp and a soothing falsetto. He has been singing since very early in life, but did not begin to take it seriously until college where he realized his full potential. Since those days, this sensational vocalist has grown into a well-known artist on the rise, and much sought after vocalist.
Already, Aramie’s built a following of his musical endeavors – Team Aramie. Aramie has been blessed to perform around Chicago, the Midwest and other states. He has recently relocated to New York City from Chicago to further pursue his artistic endeavors - acting, singing and dancing. There is no creative venture he is afraid to tackle.
Although his music has a heavy R&B influence, it is not genre-specific. Aramie finds inspiration in Pop, Soul, Gospel, Acoustic, R&B, Hip-Hop and alternative music. He takes pride in writing (and often composing) all of his music – however is not turning down the opportunity of working alongside other writers. He also writes for a handful of other artists.
Inspiration: Some of his favorite musicians include Stevie Wonder, Usher, Maroon 5, Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Justin Timberlake and many more.
Anticipation: Aramie is currently in the studio recording his debut EP, "Pretty People, Ugly Things". He will be releasing new singles from that project this Spring/Summer! In the mean time, his mixtape, Fanatic is available for download at datpiff.com!
