Born in Gauntanmo Bay, Cuba. Raised in a Navy family in Spooner, WI, Taiwan, Kittery, Maine, and Kodiak, Ak. Attended jr. and high school in Nenana Alaska. After some work and time at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks I moved to San Diego, CA where I played at Drowsy Maggies, a lovely folk music coffee house. I returned to Alaska where I traveled, performing as the Alaskan Troubador. Back in San Diego I continued as the Alaskan Troubdor untill I formed Barton and James with the great Tommy Barton. We grew a band that became Rabbit Choir, moved to the San Francisco Bay area and spent some years touring the west coast. We were spectacularly successful, some nights and lived the dream. I moved to Oregon to raise my son in Eugene, turning my attention to earning a living, playing shows occasionally and continuing to write and record music in my home studio.I have a sixteen year old son, Cash, and live with my beautful and brilliant wife, Anne.
