Once upon a time, in a sleepy little town, in central Germany called Gelnhausen, a little brown eyed girl was born. She was in such a hurry to hit the ground running, that she came out feet first.
This little girl was named Jenniver Roelle.
She was gifted, that she started singing and dancing before she started walking and talking. Imagine her parents surprise to find their 2 year old singing „Push it real good“ by Salt'n'Pepper.
Throughout her life music was always a source of comfort and no matter how hard life was music was the first thing that provided her solace.
She would dress up like her favorite role models including Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson belting "I will always love you", "Think Twice" and "Man in the Mirror" from the top of her lungs. She turned her room into a concert hall and her friends into an audience. Costumes were courtesy of Mama's „boutique“.
Finally, when she was 9 years old she got to stand on a real stage singing in front of a live audience and got her first applause.
From that point on she knew she was hooked. She knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
In the meantime she also started songwriting and developing melodies at the tender age of 8 years. She needed a medium to express herself, her emotions and feelings. It always felt good for her to be on stage and share her emotions with the audience.
Her Mom and Dad were very supportive so they decided to send her with the age of 12 to the accredited artist school "Scream Factory" in Frankfurt. There she had classes in voice building, repertoire, rhythm and vocal training. Through this she developed new contacts. She booked actual gigs for commercial studio work. "Barbie" and "Fix & Foxie" were two of her first paying gigs, and many more followed.
When she was 13, at a Joe Whitney concert, she audaciously asked the entertainer if she could do one of her songs on his stage. After he saw her perform, he was so impressed with the young lady, he decided to take her on tour with him and his Street Life Family throughout Germany.
Through this experience she was able to work and polish on her stage presence.
She recorded her first song "Get Away" feat. Joe Whitney when she was 14. At about the same time she worked on several projects with Uli Brenner and Alex Schleipp.
In an effort to make her dreams come true, she participated in several TV Casting shows like Teenstar, Deutschland Sucht den Superstar and Popstars. She made it to the final rounds several times but life had a different plan for her in store.
Through the independent label Rooftop Entertainment in Frankfurt, Jenniver was included on the Mixtape with, and for, the Russian rapstar Seryoga. She sang a collaboration track named "Musik" with SaYa, Rimm and Amaris.
She also worked together with the record label Noxwell Records which released the album "Black Affair's" with her song "Es tut mir Leid" feat. Rimm and Saya.
In hopes to advance her education she qualified as a multilingual executive assistant, she soon found herself in the HR department of a large German company, caring for hundreds of employees. It paid the bills, but didn't satisfy her soul.
So she connected with the management company "Musik fuer Massen" which worked with such well known German artists as 3P, Glashaus, J-Luv and Rapsoul. John Ruhrmann cast the Band CUT including Jenniver, Mayumi Cruz and Nadi. Together they produced the album "Pleasure & Pain" for Sony BMG – Russia. Plans included a TV Show in Russia.
She did lots of studio work. Ring tone jingles, McDonald's & commercials. Plus she was singing demo tracks for international artists such as Adam Tyler.
In 2010 she decided to go back to her father's roots. America. There she took acting classes at the well known American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood. She appeared in several film, promotion, music and modeling projects. Her credits include "The Guilt Trip", "Here Comes The Boom", "Monica", for Paul Oakenfeld, Oribe etc.
When she saw the audition coming up for Universal Studios Japan she decided to try her luck and succeeded. Since February 2012, she has been working in Osaka, Japan as a performer at the film company's theme park. She has shared the stage with some of the most talented people in the entertainment industry while performing at the special events of Baskin & Robbin's, Coca Cola and NTT Docomo, to name a few. You also can watch her there at the current christmas show "The Song of an Angel" as the "Maid of Honor".
Jenniver is always determined to grow. She never gives up! She never backs down!
See what's next and follow her journey.....
