Ric Hussman / Bio

Ric Hussman is a performing songwriter who's music can be heard in television and film as well as regional airplay on country radio.
Ric's 'Dancin Space" written with Rebb Firman, heard in the movie "Skinwalkers" as well as TV drama "Now and Again". Ric's Christmas song "It's a Hap Hap Happy Christmas Time of Year" appears in the 2004 Warner Brothers book, "The Collection of Christmas Music" . Opry member Allen Karl covered it on his "My Favorite Time of Year" CD in December 2008.
Recording artist David Langley did three of Ric's tunes on his self titled second CD which enjoyed good regional airplay from Bakersfield to Sacramento with "Another You", "What Else Can Go Wrong" and "I'll Bet You Are Too", and can be heard at www.cdbaby.com/dlangley. Ric played with David's band at Buck Owen's Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA opening for Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Ty Herndon and Dwight Yoakam.
Ric composed the sound track and theme song for an adaptation of the O'Henry short story, "The Ransome Of Red Chief" which debuted as a theatrical work at The Enchanted Playhouse, Visalia, CA . Ric performed the role of Sam Kendahl and sang "The Ballad of Red Chief" in the role.
Ric performs regularly with the band Slickbilly, who has opened for country superstar Craig Morgan (at theFox Theater in Hanford, CA) and can be seen at events throughout California's central valley. Be sure and check myspace.com/richussman for Ric's latest works.
