Bobby Osborne, member of the world famous Grand Ole Opry since 1964, is one of the forerunners of Bluegrass. Along with his brother Sonny Osborne, he helped pave the way for Bluegrass artists today by successfully blending Country and Bluegrass, innovating both a new style of mandolin playing, and the high lead harmony singing heard in several Bluegrass acts today. Bobby has worked with the Lonesome Pine Fiddlers, the Stanley Brothers, in addition to being one half of the Osborne Brothers. Since his brother’s retirement in 2004 has continued on his way reaching new milestones in his career.
