Passionate about music as a young kid, Shane Willz was introduced to instruments at an early age. He was skillfully playing guitar and piano by age 9 and, by age 12, had already formed his first band. As Shane matured he began to refine his skills and shift his musical momentum towards hip hop. Ever since Shane heard the famous album "The Chronic" by Dr. Dre, he knew this was the type of music he wanted to be involved in and the lifestyle he wanted to live. With a strong musical background, Shane picked up production quickly and, as luck would have it, a friend who was moving out of town gave Shane everything he needed to get started on the road to a successful future in hip hop.

Armed with nothing but a keyboard, MPC, computer and microphone, Shane threw himself into his music. Spending countless hours each day working away at the computer until everything was perfect. Every kick, every snare, every sound. "Music first, everything else secondary," was his motto. At first he started out simply experimenting, but quickly realized this was something he truly enjoyed and had a talent for. Fast forward a few years and Shane Willz is beginning to really make a name for himself. After pursuing audio engineering in San Francisco and Los Angeles, Shane gained valuable production and recording skills as well as knowledge and insight into the industry. This has helped him not only to broaden his network, but also allowed him to produce, mix, master, market and sell his music as well.

Shane has become something of a multifaceted dynamo since then. He is a producer, artist, engineer, manager, agent and promoter. Steadily making progress with his music as well as developing other ventures such as his clothing line Legitimate Steez, Shane is certainly showing dedication to his craft with an uncompromised work ethic. With much anticipation surrounding the release of his first mixtape, fans, family and friends are all anxiously waiting for Shane Willz to take the spotlight and show the world all his creative talents.
