IDyL BeaST/hOrN tuLLiP
The reason that I love the new album hOrN tuLLiP by the rock band IDyL BeasT is because they are so versatile and play more than a few genres of music!! The album starts off with a mighty powerful and speedy, Rocj and Roll heavan which is a rock and roll anthem!! The next song, All Fear The Mystery is a classical sounding movement that rocks steady and heavy!! When Will I See You? is the third song which is pop/rock and also has a celtic sound or a hauntingly old Scottish/Irish bagpipe song!! The fourth song titiled Mushroom Cloud is a real crowd pleaser that sports solid backbone with a slight upbeat and even a funky hip-hop kind of feel!! Song five is Sun Taker which is an aggressive, speedy and crazy tune on the hOrN tuLLiP album!! Janie, which is the sixth song on IDyL BeasTs new album most definetlely holds its own as a very pop/rock/alternative hit contender that is also very danceable!! Take Janie to the sock hop and let 'em all have it!! Out Of Comission is the seventh tune and an aggressive one that really rocks hard!! The eighth song on the album is Cyber Clone which is a rock/jazz concerto with well used dynamics and fluent melody and harmony that can give you goose bumps because it sounds a little eery and is a little bit scary!! Miracles, song number nine of the album is a very pleasant sounding indie/pop hit that also has a very sweet message!! Tune number ten is titled, Dreams which is the most aggressive song that you can find on the IDyL BeasT/hOrN tuLLiP album and it is also very upbeat, loud and shrillingly raw!! Song eleven, Zero Hour is an experimental recording of a guitar that is metered and muti-delayed in simulated echoes of space as it seems to defy the timeless void!! The last song, The Devils Playground is a chilling, moaning, ghostly dity that dumps out into a slow and very deep super hip-hop/funk ending that all seems to come from a place called, "Halloween Forever"!! The vocals on IDyL BeasT/hOrN tuLLiP are strong, fresh, sexy and new!! The guitar playing is awsome with guitar solos that are the best!! The bass and drum performances are all of supreme order with industry driven rhthyms and hooks as well as bass and drum solos that are top of the line professional!! The recording is a little home-made sounding but, I would say that this album deserves 5 stars according to all of the fore-mentioned!!
