Born in Indiana, Ben Knott aka. Mr Money was raised by his two parents along with his older brother.Growing up he lived a normal life as a child. His older brother got him into hip-hop at a young age, as he looked up to his older brother. As time went on, he got deeper into that hip-hop and rap scene. In 8th grade Mr Money picked up playing the drums, which got him more into music. His freshmen year in highschool is when he made his first song, makin fun of some friends. As time went on it molded into more serious rhymes. His senior year in highschool was the first time he had a run-in with the law, and the next few years would bring a few more. Mr Money went to college at Vincennes University
in 2005. He was studying multimedia, as he wanted to learn the graphic and video side of the biz. In 2006, the summer semester, Mr Money got arrested again. He then moved to Richmond Indiana where his parents lived. He lived there for 5 years off and on, always traveling, making moves, and enjoying life. He got deep into the streets, as Richmond had a vast street world to explore. Mr Money made some moves in 2011 and moved to central Florida to start a new life. He has opened for major artists like Twista, Petey Pablo, and others. Currently working on a project titled, "The Mixtape Meltdown" Mr Money has big plans for 2012. Also in the works is his first album, "Money Real Big, Choppers Even Bigger" the self titled cd, will drop later this year. So keep your eyes and ears open!
