Jesse Jennings is a talented singer, songwriter and musician originally from Dublin, Texas, who moved closer to the metroplex to follow his dreams as a professional artist. He has played in many venues throughout Texas and is gradually expanding his horizons outside his native state and is hitting a much broader crowd. He has been fortunate to open for many national acts larglely in part to his time with Sister Jill. While with with Sister Jill he was nominated for Male Vocalist of the year and Sister Jill was the Band of the Year in 2007. He is well exposed to the country music scene as he toured with the Casey Donahew Band as an acoustic guitar player and harmony singer. Jesse is currently pursuing his solo career with his band the Rippers and has opened for acts like, Jason Aldean, Jack Ingram, Gary Allan and John Conlee.
Jesse has songs that he has written over the last 15 years of his life. He writes on a personal level about things he’s been through and seen. He writes about the love, heartache and backwoods driving in a small town growing up. Through his music he can share his story with numbers of people. Jesse’s music and stylization is influenced by artists he admires such as Bob Seger, Garth Brooks, Dion, and Elvis. When people ask Jesse what his music sounds like he can only respond with “nothing you have ever heard before”. It’s country with a twist.
