From Tucson, Taco moved to Wichita Ks. and after a brief stint on the road was accepted at Jackie King's Southwest Guitar Conservatory in San Antonio Texas. The revolving faculty included Jazz legends Herb Ellis, Barney Kessel and Lenny Breau along with founding father Ray Benson from Asleep At The Wheel. Upon Graduation, Taco spent the next 4 years touring with Texas State Fiddle Champion Darryl Dugosh, opening for countless regional and national acts throughout the U.S. Back home in Tucson, he fronted several cowpunk bands including AZ IZ and The Entire Sonora Navy. Moving to Madison WI in 2005, Taco has been playing with The Sinchiladas and The High Chaparrals for the last 6 years.
