Chris Interrante, most recently known as a leader in The ShadowTones—a local East Dallas blues-rock band—has in a previous life done a four-year term as touring bassist with Shelter, an all-ages, youth-inspired act that toured Europe and the USA (with plenty of mosh-pit to go around). Having a day-job certainly has its benefits, one of which is paying for the garage studio that has inspired the recent leap of faith to release some original material.
Check your balance, because you now have before you a collection of new music that is best enjoyed cool, on-tap, while sporting blue-tinted shades: OVERDRAFT.
Being from Texas offered Chris a strong sense of roots blues and southern rock, while East and West Coast stints added musical impressions that range from 80’s new wave, punk, ska, rock, reggae to jazz. Further informed by Eastern mystical thought and travels in India, he is open to sonic inspiration wherever it can be found.
