Dyse was born Marc J. Foster in Warren, Ohio on July 15, 1981. As a child, he was a constant performer with his dance performances for family and silly stunts with friends. By the age of eight, he found his first love…hip hop. He then, with his brother and two friends formed the local child rap group EOZ performing all over the area and winning talent competitions by showing their skills with their self-written raps. Soon Dyse was in the studio with EOZ recording their first single, Extra Ordinary Zone. After a few bad management decisions, the group fell apart and the boys went their separate ways. Still, Dyse was on a mission for success. Dyse would show his talent to anyone who would pay attention, and sometimes even for the ones who wouldn’t. Anyone could find Dyse by listening for his lyrics at any party, local event, or talent competition. He would even throw his dancing skills into the mix by joining dance groups, just so he would be seen, even if he wasn’t being heard. At the age of 14, Dyse lost his best friend, his grandmother, and started running with a tough crowd then found his way away from the stage but he never found his way away from the pen.Dyse made the decision that it was time to put his past behind him and look only to the future. Since then he has been on a steady course of writing, recording, and performing. He took his writings and joined the local music group, Black Hood Krew (BHK), where he became a large musical influence to the mostly younger members of the crew. The group performed at many local events and had their own shows and entered into a few talent competitions as well. Dyse kept his options open. He also has been focusing on his solo career by working with numerous producers, downloading and writing songs for his upcoming mix tape, and working with another artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on a separate collaboration. Keep your eyes on this prize. He is sure to be coming up fast.
