Chris Moore / Bio
. I started out playing classical violin in grade school... then I heard my first Bob Dylan record, immediately lost interest in J.S. Bach and got my hands on a 6-string acoustic guitar. I eventually focused on electric bass; which I played for much of my musical life.
. I've written songs since early high-school; but when I stopped performing music for a living, I shifted my creative energies to other endeavors and drifted into a songwriting doldrum. A few years ago my good friend, Doug E. Rees, encouraged me to get back to my songwriting. So lately, I've been "re-learning" how to play a six-string guitar, writing inarticulate songs from the heart and performing them at any local venues that will have me. A musician's "itch" to perform never gets completely scratched, so it's been a bunch of fun playing in public again!
. These days I'm writing more (and, I like to think better) and working on a CD of original songs, which will be ready for official release "pretty darn soon". "Roscoe's Tune", "Electra 225" & "They Got Pills For That" are un-mastered mixes from the project. Please give 'em a listen. Check back for more songs, I will post them as soon as they are mastered.
