Grand Met Bondye / Bio

Grand Met Bondye was formed in 2008 in Pinerolo (Turin province, Italy) by the will of Meme Bert (guitars – ex Nitya, Clockwork), Paolo “Tom” Varrone (drums – ex Minerva, Royal Dutch), Enrico Maritano (guitars and vocals – ex Zona Ovest, Royal Dutch) and Andrea Pagliarino (bass – ex Nitya).
The four friend’s aim was to give life to a new band based on different musical experiences, types and musical tastes coming from each one, from Southern and Country Music to Hard Rock, from Metal to Grunge until to the most classics of rock.
After a few jam, the sound naturally turned into an aggressive rock, mixed with southern rock influences and some metal recallings.
On the second half of 2010 GMB start the recording of their first self-titled album at OneVoiceStudio (Chivasso, Turin) with the precious help of Danny Giordana (sound engineer for Monster Magnet, Hatebreed, Capricorn); the album will be released on this march 2011 under OneVoiceRecordings label .
