Sunshine Emery / Bio

You can find Sunshine Emery pickin an’ a grinnin almost every weekend all over the DFW area! She has a full band but also hosts open mic and performs solo, duet, or trio style shows. Over the past couple of years, she has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many talented and well known local musicians such as; Guthrie Kennard, Cadillac Johnson, Scott Copeland, Austin Allsup, Mike McClure,Ryan McBride, Stephanie Urbina Jones, Zane Williams, Kylie Rae Harris, Darrin Kobetich, Terry Razor, and many more. These hard workin artists have all helped inspire her to write and record her own music. Sunshine released her first CD, “Temptation Road” in December of 2010!

Sunshine Emery was honored to be a part of the Red Dirt Road Show’s Singing for a Vision benefit in 2010 and is always happy to help out a worthy cause….which helps make up for the times she might be caught having too much fun. She lives out in Parker County and will be performing as a part of Freedom Fest at Lake Palo Pinto Marina and Campground this year, a benefit to honor wounded soldiers.

Sunshine Emery…” has a confidence in her singing …and combines a country twang with humorous lyrics…one song incorporated Brittany Spears, Charlie Daniels, and Jesse Jackson all in a few verses.”
