Bridgjette Taylor / Bio

Bridgjette Monique Taylor better known as simply Bridgjette (pronounced briz-jhette) is a Christian singer and songwriter. Born in Houston, TX This light hearted young woman has always disired to write, produce, and perform music for Christ. She began singing Rythm and Blues at age twelve auditioning for girl groups Girls Tyme and the world famous Destiny Child. She began her writing career at 18 under the guidance of producer Bryan Michael Cox sharing the studio with artist like Jagged Edge, Lotoya Luckett, Ashanti and many more.

In 2006 Bridgjette team up with Sony Red, Abundant Life Cathedral, and Dr. Ed Montgomery and released her debut album, self entitled "Bridgjette Taylor" which peaked at #14 on the Gospel Billboard Charts. Once again God showed her favor. In promotion of this album she shared the stage with gospel greats such as Yolonda Adams, Karen Clarke Sheard, Ruben Studdard. She appeared on TV One's Jeff Majors Show, Gospel Superfest 4,5, and 6 and Bobby Jones Gospel.

Since that time Bridgjette has also been working on her writing career writing the title soundtrack for the cheerleader hit "Bring It On" -All or Nothing" starring Solonge Knowles and Hayden Panettiere, which sold 750,000 copies in the first week and remained the #3 selling DVD in the country for three months.
