Formed in 2002 and commencing gigging in early 2005, the core lineup of Admiral Browning will soon surpass 200 shows together. Though focused mainly in their home state of Maryland, and the nearby areas of Virginia and Washington, D.C., the band has canvassed both the northeast and the southeast US, and as far west as Arizona. Along the way the Admiral has had the honor of sharing the stage with established acts such as The Bakerton Group, Internal Void, Stinking Lizaveta, Coliseum, Lo-Pan, Backwoods Payback, Valkyrie, Earthride, Unorthodox, Abdullah, Tonegrown, Minsk, Christine, Sasquatch, Acid King and the Terminal Lovers, as well as playing multiple festivals including Stoner Hands of Doom (SHoD) VII, VIII, X and XI, Doom or or Be Doomed in 2007 and 2010, and Days of the Doomed in 2011.
The future looks bright for the Admiral, already in the process of recording and mixing brand new songs for several projects, including a long-awaited vinyl release. More face-melting live attitude is yet to come, as these road warriors continue to bring their well-regarded live chops outside of their home state of Maryland up and down the East Coast in the fall of this year, with extended tours planned for the Southwest and a long-awaited tour of the West Coast in 2012.
