Born in Phoenix and raised in Los Angeles, Chris Eddy moved to Nashville in 1989 to work with his father Guitar legend, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Duane Eddy.
After drumming for Duane for a couple of years, he toured playing bass with singer Shelby Lynn.
Wanting to focus on his own singing and songwriting career, Chris signed an artist/development deal with legendary producer Barry Beckett and Warner Chappell Publishing, broadening his experience by co-writing with some of the best songwriters Nashville had to offer, and had songs recorded by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Van Zant.
His diverse studio credits include background vocals on albums ranging from Petra, Twila Paris, and Carmen, to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams, Jr. His work on television includes appearances on Star Search, as a winning contestant, and The Jay Leno Show, playing guitar as a member of Shania Twain’s band.
Legendary singer Michael McDonald produced a CD on Chris in 2003.
Chris continued with his musical talents writing and producing projects on Timothy Gaines from Stryper, and Christian artist Brett Williams. Chris currently has songs released on Bloodgood, and the title cut on up and coming artist Sarah Turner.
