Lysee J. was born on February 24, 1989. Her parents divorced when she was a baby and she grew up primarily California with her mother, although she spent a few years in New Jersey with her father. Her childhood years were difficult because of her parents’ divorce but that experience helped her to develop a maturity and understanding beyond her years.
Once in college, she was dying to show the world her talent for singing, songwriting, and dancing. After 2 years of college at a private university, Lysee J. decided to take a leave of absence from school to pursue her dream of becoming a recording artist.
After making the tough decision to take a break from school, Lysee J. told everyone she knew about her passion for music. Without much training, she gave a few performances at her school before leaving and blew everyone away. Her stage performance is something to watch out for as she has presence and personality to go along with her beautiful voice. Lysee J. wants to be a positive role model for her generation and will not let anything stop her from achieving her dream of becoming a recording artist. Since then She had teamed up with Producer "Automatic" and she wrote the songs above which are on her EP album. She's an extremely talented writer, Given the fact that she wrote these 4 songs and recorded them in a matter of 4 days. She has extreme work ethic and isnt going to stop until she makes it to the top! She wants to be able to write about real things that people experience. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. "I want to be able to write music that will evoke experiences in a person. I want to make people dance, smile, think, and feel." Lysee J has experienced many things in her live and has many many life lessons she wants to share with her generation. "I am a very opinionated person and I have a lot to say. I want to be there for people who need guidance and be an inspiration that all things are possible if you believe in them."
