Throb Zombie is a four piece punk band formed in the depths of Hell. We practice in Tempe but try not to eat the locals (except at live shows of course!)
Throb Zombie shows are energetic and full of the punk rock attitude that is so vital to a true punk show. Brett Dooley's lyrics are thought provoking and strike a chord with a wide variety of audiences. Brett Hansen brings sizzling lead guitar riffs and solos. Greg Lawson treats his bass like he owns it and it owes him money. John Churchill, though nicknamed "The Human Metronome," still plays his drums with feeling, style, and a definite groove.
Throb Zombie live performances are so great that the owner of the Sail Inn, a local Tempe venue, mentioned that the band put on the most entertaining show she'd seen in a long time.
