Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate is multi-instrumentalist Malcolm, with one or more of:-
Flautist Kathryn Thomas (flautist of the award winning Galliard Ensemble www.Reverbnation.com/galliardensemble and classical chamber musician and soloist including Proms and concerto soloist). As a classical musician Kathryn records for Deux-Elles Classical Recordings (www.deux-elles.com). Both Malcolm and Kathryn have independently been broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
Bass player Mark Gatland. Mark is an experienced and versatile bassist. Malcolm and Mark have been playing together since school.
Charismatic and talented drummer Rudy Roo (also drummer of the Fiddler's Elbow House Band, Diamond Faith, and Iraq).
Virtuosic, pyrotechnical guitar speed demon Ibon Ibon.
Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate play music ranging from hauting acoustic melancholia and rock originals, to flute-led classic rock covers, including Hendrix, Guns and Roses, Pink Floyd, and Queen.
Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate regularly play at the Fiddler's Elbow and have performed at other leading London music venues, including Nambucca, Water Rats, Camden Rock, The Vibe Bar, The Comedy, and The Bowery/Ballyhoo. They have also played at festivals, and street parties.
Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate regularly put on charity gigs, and have recently put on fundraising events for Save The Children, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Ehlers-Danlos Support UK, and Brain Tumour UK.
Their debut single 'Wait For The Storm' (in aid of Save The Children and Ehlers-Danlos Support UK) has been critically acclaimed, and have recently released their debut album 'Invisible'. They have been broadcast on Notty Nation, The Justin Wayne Show, Troy's Room (LA Talk Radio), Radio Sherbourne, Planet Indie, MuseBoat Radio, Songwriter Radio, Rokout Radio, Social Media Radio, Tudno FM, Rocking The Blues From Canada, The Justin Sane Show, Firebrand Rock Radio, and Optical Zoo Radio.
