Musically influenced by Boys Like Girls and All Time Low, Call Me a Tragedy started in July 2010 with Ben Sawatsky Writing and recording from his bedroom. Call Me a Tragedy has lately taken influence both lyrically and musically from Fall Out Boy in an effort to move into the more punk/pop scene. The name Call Me a Tragedy was originated by a close friend William Nitson as a song title but was given to Ben for the band. Call Me a Tragedy had released
one Rough EP: the "Call Me a Tragedy" EP featuring four of the earliest tracks including the very first song written for the band "LoveSick".
